# Template directory

> Every TikTok template in one list: the five copy templates by ad format, plus the customer profile file. Use it to find the right template without opening the Templates tab.

A template is a blank sheet you copy and fill in. Everything on this page is one of those. The briefs and concepts pages at the bottom hold the reasoning behind what goes in them.

## Copy templates

One filled template is one ad. Each holds the field structure and character limits for a single format; the words come from the [copy brief](/copy-brief).
