File format
- CSV or XML.
- Columns can appear in any order, but column names have to match Google’s expected names exactly, and every value in a row must be comma-separated in a CSV file.
- If none of your properties have a value for an optional column, you can omit that column entirely; a required column can’t be omitted even if it’s sparsely populated.
- Linking a Hotel Center account for use in a Performance Max for travel goals campaign is currently capped at 100 properties; larger portfolios need the Hotel API instead of a Hotel Center-linked feed.
Column template
This is a representative subset, not the complete spec. Verify the full required and optional column list against Google’s own hotel list feed documentation before a first upload, since exact column names and casing matter for a successful import.
Format rules
- Country should follow the same two-letter ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 pattern used elsewhere in this knowledge base’s platform templates.
- Phone number is most reliably matched in E.164 format (leading
+, country code, digits only), consistent with the format used on the audience CSV templates in this knowledge base. - This feed carries property details, not price. Rates and availability come from a separate connection (your booking engine or a rates feed), so don’t expect a price column here the way there is on a Merchant Center or Meta commerce feed.
