Use this template to show in-store stock and pricing for products you already sell online. Every row has to match a product id that’s already in your primary Products feed; this feed extends that one rather than replacing it. See the Google Merchant Center feed templates overview if you haven’t set up the primary feed yet.

File format

  • CSV, TSV, or XML, one row per product per store location.
  • Requires a linked, active primary Products feed; this feed won’t work on its own.

Column template

Format rules

  • id has to match an item already present in the linked primary feed exactly; a local inventory row with no matching primary feed item is ignored.
  • availability uses this feed’s own value set: in_stock, limited_availability, on_display_to_order, or out_of_stock, which is a different set of values than the Products feed’s availability attribute uses.
  • store_code needs to match the store codes registered in your Business Profile / store locations, not an internal-only code nobody else recognizes.

Data and compliance rules

  • In-store price and stock need to reflect reality at each specific location. Showing an item as available when a specific store is sold out is the same category of misrepresentation issue as an inaccurate online price, and can affect account standing the same way.
  • Because this feed is location-specific, keep it on a fresher update cycle than a slower-moving primary feed; stale local stock data is a common source of a poor in-store pickup experience.
