destination_id is this vertical’s unique key; it isn’t interchangeable with hotel_id, id, or the other verticals’ ID fields.- Keep
name and description specific to one destination per row rather than combining several places into one listing.
Data and compliance rules
- Meta’s general advertising standards, including its prohibitions on deceptive or misleading claims, apply to destination listings the same as any other catalog.
- Travel and tourism advertising can be subject to destination-specific regulatory or disclosure requirements (health advisories, entry requirements) depending on where you’re advertising; that’s a legal question separate from Meta’s feed format.
