File format
- CSV, TSV, RSS XML, or ATOM XML, one row per vehicle, with a header row naming each column.
- Set up through Commerce Manager (feed upload), Meta Business Suite, or a supported third-party inventory provider.
Column template
This isn’t an exhaustive field list. Meta’s automotive spec also includes trim, transmission, drivetrain, fuel type, exterior and interior color, and dealer/store fields; confirm the complete current list against Meta’s own documentation before a first upload.
Format rules
state_of_vehicleandconditionboth describe new-vs-used; some tooling expects one, some the other. Fill in whichever your feed source (dealer management system or third-party provider) actually produces, and check for duplicated or conflicting values between the two if you’re populating both.vinis the standard 17-character vehicle identification number. It’s the field most third-party tools use to de-duplicate listings across marketplaces, so keep it accurate rather than leaving it blank.pricefollows the product pattern: a number plus a three-letter ISO 4217 currency code.
